This site is for you, so in that vain I would like to extend to all of you an invitation to not only let me know(Magid@raybin.com) what shows you want to see covered here but please let the promoters of the events you are interested in know that you want to see them featured here. Consider me an extension of you! Ill ask the questions you want answered! If you are not sure how to contact a promoter drop me a line and Ill be happy to assist you.

Florida Supercon! Miami July 1-4, 2011

Let’s venture to Miami, Florida for Florida Supercon. This event occurs at the “MIAMI AIPORT CONVENTION CENTER” (MACC), formally known as the Miami Mart Airport Hotel and Convention Center. 711 NW 72nd Ave, Miami FL. 33126, SUPERCON HOTLINE: 954.263.0654 During the weekend of July 1-4, 2011

Florida Supercon is NOW a 4 DAY FESTIVAL dedicated to Comic Books, Anime, Animation, Video Games, Fantasy and Sci-Fi featuring celebrity guests,comic book creators, voice actors, industry guests, cosplayers, artists, writers, panels, Q&A’s, films & shorts, costume & cosplay contests,vendors, parties, anime, workshops, video gaming and more! 2011 will be the 6th annual Florida Supercon.

Their comic book lineup is quite extensive.

Hello Con Maniacs,

Wow, another week is ending. Time seems to fly by these days. I don’t know about you, but sometimes I feel like I’m going through time on fast forward in the Doctor’s Tardis. So much to do and so little time. I have some sources going to events this weekend, so some fun reviews will be coming your way.

A fun upcoming event on the weekend of November 12-14 is Tuscon 37 a Sci Fi, Fantasy and Horror convention in Tuscon Arizona at the Hotel Tuscon Citycenter. The first lady of Superman Noel Neill is the guest of honor.

Add to that the fans who saved the original Star Trek, Bjo Trimble and her husband. I remember meeting her when she came to Trek Con in Melbourne Australia in 1990. We had so much fun. That was also back when cons were more about the fans and less about signings etc. We came together to be with friends. Also the schedules were not jam packed like they tend to be now. You had time to take a breath.
