Hello Con Maniacs,

Ah the United Kingdom. At one time the British Empire was so big that they would say “The sun never sat on the British Empire.” That may not be the case these days, but they have some great shows that prove the Brits still got it. Collectormaniais held at the Olympia 2, Hammersmith Road, London, W14 8UX, November 27/28, 2010.

They have a rip roaring guest list of which I can only sample a few here. First off is the great Michael Biehn from Terminator fame. I worked with him back in the early 1990′s while working at his manager at the time. Michael is a great guy and an amazing talent.

Next up is a couple of the Doctor’s from Doctor Who. Colin Baker who then regenerates into Sylvester McCoy. You all know my love of Doctor Who. Back in Sydney I would race to get home after school to catch the latest episode of Doctor Who.

I feel like such a name dropper, but next up is Adrian Paul who played Duncan McLeod from the Highlander TV series and later films. When I worked with him in 07 I found him to be one of the most kind and gracious men I have met.

Below is a pic of me with Adrian, please forgive me as this was taken at the end of what was about a 15 hour day.

So many great friends and memories. Next up is Armin Shimerman. He played Quark in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. He is such a unique individual. I have such deep affection for this man and his lovely wife. Working with him was always a joy.

Thanks to TFAWvideos for this great coverage of Armin at Dragoncon.

That is all just a start. This event has a huge lineup that crosses all lines in Sci Fi as well as a large sports contingent. To all of you attending I would love to hear from you and see your photo’s. You can send them to Magid@raybin.com

Doctor’s, Terminators, Highlanders, Ferengis, few! You can travel in time, live for all time and buy all the time you need with some Gold Pressed Latinum…Now that’s the way to live!
