Update to Melbourne Dr. Who event, March 27th 2011
Jan 2nd
Hello Con Maniacs,
I am happy to announce the addition of Colin Baker, the 6th Doctor as a guest at Look Whos Talking by www.firstcontactconventions.com
Colin Baker was a very colorful change after the somewhat more reserved Peter Davison. Not too mention the very colorful coat Colin wore as the Doctor. It was like Joseph and his Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.
I am sure by now you are all well aware of my love for Doctor Who. I can basically gage my childhood by which Doctor was around at the time. Me and my friends used to play Dr. Who. Of course everyone wanted to be the Doctor. Although it was always fun to be the Master…This is the Master I loved!
I would love to hear what you think of Dr. Who, you can reach me at Magid@raybin.com and remember if you would like a specific event featured in detail here please contact the show promoters and let them know.
Time to go watch all the Dr. Who episode I tivod over the New Year…Maybe play with my Tardis too

Wales Comic Con-Coming your way in June, 2011
Dec 19th
Hello Con Maniacs,
Wales is going to be the place to be this coming June 5th 2011 for Wales Comic Con. This event will be held at Glydwr University, Wrexham, UK. Remember, if you want more detailed coverage of this event here on www.conmania.com then contact the promoter either via their email: info@mercurypromotions.co.uk or their contact page.
Here you have another opportunity to meet the great Gareth David-Lloyd and Kai Owen from Torchwood will be appearing.
Still with the Dr. Who theme, Colin Baker, the 6th Dr. He was definitely a crazy Dr. That coat of his was a hoot.
As a fantastic change of pace how about David Prowse the man behind the Darth Vader helmet.
This is a show that is really growing in popularity. I would love to feature some more on this event. If your attending let me know at Magid@raybin.com
Alot of you will be starting to get ready to travel for the Christmas holiday. So make sure to be careful, take a deep breath and realize everything will probably take twice the time you think it will. If it doesn’t you will pleasantly surprised. Enjoy having a shorter work week too…
