Some Youtube fun from Chicago Tardis…
Dec 9th
Hello Con Maniacs,
Well it looks like everyone had a blast at the Chicago Tardis event. Take a look below at this fun “rap” about wanting coffee from Gareth David-Lloyd while being assisted by the beat boxing of Kai Owen…
And how about Kai Owen singing!?!? He might have another career. What do you think?
Oh my stars and garters, you can’t miss this next one. Kai Owen singing the John Barrowman song…It is brilliant!
To the fans who took this videos thanks a million. This event looks like it was a hoot. If you went I would love to hear from you at Magid@raybin.com
I have to say I love my Torchwood. I am so looking forward to their adventures here in the US. I know a story I would love to see, how does Captain Jack become the Face of Boe? Wouldn’t that be cool…Let me know what you think!

The Tardis is coming to Chicago…
Nov 12th
Hello Con Maniacs,
I don’t know about you, but I love Doctor Who. I have been a fan since about 1975. I can remember meeting Tom Baker and Peter Davison at shopping centers in Sydney. Both were really nice. (Oh, Tom Baker was the 4th Doctor and Peter Davison was the 5th). Well my friends, November 26-28 at the Westin Lombard Yorktown Center in Illinois is hosting Chicago Tardis 2010. Woo Hoo…
Some of the great people you will meet at this event are the amazing Gareth David-Lloyd-Ianto from Torchwood(an anagram for Doctor Who). I worked with Gareth at the 2008 Comic Con in San Diego and I can tell you he is a wonderful guy and loves his fans.
One of my favorite Doctor Who companions is Leela (Louise Jameson), one of the 4th Doctors companions. She was one of the toughest and resourceful women you would ever want to see.
Venturing back to Torchwood, Kai Owen-Rhys Williams who plays the long suffering fiance of Torchwood agent Gwen Cooper and is so lovable will be in attendance.
Now lets take a trip to the Sarah Jane Adventures. For those of you who do not know, Sarah Jane Smith was the companion for both the 3rd-(Jon Pertwee) and 4th-(Tom Baker) Doctors. Sarah was known for getting into trouble, but she was so lovable. Even though she would get in trouble she would then turn around and be able to stand up to the likes of Davros, the creator of the Daleks. I digress, in The Sarah Jane Adventures her adoptive genius son is Luke Smith, played by Tommy Knight.
