John Cho, aka New Sulu, aka Harold, aka the pizza delivery guy from an episode of “The Jeff Foxworthy Show” is gonna be at Star Trek Vegas. Seems like virtually everyone involved in Star Trek ever is going to be there, short of creepy stuff like DeForest Kelley. He’s going to be at the show

Great Googly Moogly a lot of guests just got announced for Florida Supercon. Enough to make listing them all frustrating, anyway. Lazaro Suarez, creator of “My Date With The Devil’s Daughter.” Golden Age Comic Book Legend Sheldon “Shelly” Moldoff. Artist Javier Lugo. Artist Tayler Bryan. LeVar Leo and Face Palm Comics. John Romita drawing DC characters for the Hero Initiative. It is simultaneously a beautiful and terrible thing, a creature of both science and myth that should not exist and yet does. John Romita does not do DC characters. The closest I can think of in any form that will ever be published is his son

TrekFest 2011 is doing a little fundraising to keep their Star Trek convention going. Unlike other Star Trek conventions, they do have on advantage in that arena — it’s held in Riverside, IA, the birthplace of Captain Kirk. So they’re selling the land itself, one tiny vial at a time. Listen up Conmaniacs, hope you liked the video from yesterday. More should be on the way, so keep your eyes open. Anime Expo in Los Angeles is approaching, which you should be able to tell from the little countdown clock. Speaking of which, you can download your own and more website goodies by making with

It seems like I’ve been leading with a lot of Star Trek actor guest appearances in the news lately. The big ones all seem to be coming out in force lately. Speaking of which, happy 80th birthday to William Shatner today. But if Captain Kirk wants to hang out with Mr. Sulu on June 10-12,

Sad news today as veteran actor Michael Gough, best known as Alfred Pennyworth from the Batman movies of the 80s and 90s, was reported dead today at the age of 94. If being Alfred isn’t enough for you, he also starred in a bunch of Hammer horror films, played some villains in “Dr. Who” and

Not a ton of news today, especially not compared to yesterday’s onslaught of information. But C2E2 in Chicago is almost upon us, so there are some last-minute updates coming out of the Windy City. Marvel Comics displayed some of the exclusive swag they’re going to be giving away at C2E2, including a new mixtape comic,

Anthony Michael Hall more reminds me of Weird Science than the Breakfast Club. But I see what yer saying. It’s hard not to imagine him as a skinny nerd than a grown man.
And the guy who plays Zim doesn’t add up. I’ve seen videos of him playing the voice, and he doesn’t match up with what I imagined Invader Zim’s voice actor to look at.
